I wanted to see by myself that Myth that Korea has the third most broadband Internet users among the OECD countries and hence, one of the fastest broadband. Well, here is the story: I installed Azareus , a torrent-based P2P client and I am getting 150 Kbps speed for some downloads.
Amazing? Indeed, specially for somebody who despite is paying a 4 Mb connection back home in Madrid can only get less than 50 Kbps for real. A shame.

Mmmmmm, back there in Spain I’ve got an ADSL2 line, although it only connects at 6Mbs, which gives me up to 768KBs. Well… using utorrent for downloading the tv-shows the day after they are aired here in the US, I had a speed between 400 and 500 KBs. Here in the US I reach 800 sometimes.
So…I guess it’s just a matter of making a good choice with the torrents you use
Cheers

About the torrents, well… I guess you know the thing about seeds and leechers, which most of the times is the most important. But there are some websites specialized in several topics. http://www.tvtorrents.com is one of the best sites for tv shows, for example. Whenever I wanna download an episode I go there for the torrent.
For more general things I go to http://www.mininova.org.
Anyway, take a look at the options.
Greetings from Virginia

Ah, great, actually thanks because I have no clue about these things. I usually do not download too much and also I am (unfortunately) out of time for TV series, but I´d love to watch House or Prison Break, though they say of the latter that once you pop, you can not stop
Thanks again, right now greetings from Iksan, 300 km East Seoul, hope I am back to Seoul tomorrow
