Forrester, the IT consulting company, has just released an article that ponders on podcasting growing. It points at a growth rate of 10X between 2005 and 2006, literally: “nowadays, almost 10% of the Internet users in the USA donwload a podcast once a month”.
This coincides with the figures released by Pew/Internet and mentioned by a Business Week article that honours podcasting as the next big thing for advertising. All this data thanks to Denken Uber.
Personally, I do not use podcasts. I download a Steve Jobs keynote in Stanford with iTunes but never really took the time to listen it all. Happens the same with long videos and the akin, I find quite boring to download them, list them, etc. I guess it is just a matter of habits and I am not really an early adopter in multimedia habits.
