About the Author:
Juan Miguel Gomez is a Visiting Professor in the Computer Science Department at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received his Ph. D. in Computer Sciences from the National University of Ireland, Galway while at the Digital Enterprise Reseach Institute (DERI), his Master Thesis in Software Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne (Switzerland) and a M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). His research interests include the Semantic Web, Semantic Web Services, Business Process Modeling, formal methods for eCommerce and eBusiness. Dr. Gomez has been a member of the Semantic Web Services Iniatiative (SWSI) and the W3C Choreography Working group. He was involved in the SWWS project and DIP project ellaboration phase.
